S.M.I. S.r.l. is a dynamic, skilled company only using its own staff both for works at home, and, if needed, in yards abroad. The industrial sectors the company operates in range from the mechanic to the petrolchemical and plastic ones, also including setting at work and moving of production plants. Working sectors are concerning, in particular, overhauling of machine tools, oleodynamic presses, mechanic presses, plastic injection presses, etc. in our plant, on one side, and maintenance, service and installation of complex machinery, production lines, general overhauling of equipment, etc. at customers’ plants. Our company can also offer the possibility of piping manufacturing and welding upon Customer’s demand, as well as of pickling and fluxing in our plant, granting microscopic inspections and certifications upon demand. All the above works can also be carried out in outside plants by moving units which can get a filter capacity up to 3 micron through Pall filters. The organization chart of workmanship is complete and includes skilled fitters, mechanical assembler, electromechanics specialised in automatic systems, press maintenance engineers, wiring electricians, mechanical carpenters, licenced welders, pipers, hydraulics for pneumatic systems, as well as operators in our oleodynamic-system fluxing plant, where an inspection at sight by microscope and suitable devices is carried out. Our organization system enables, whenever required, to self-manage all open yards, to control the work progress constantly and keep the general situation under control in real time.
